Executive & Personal Assistant
About Blunt Cases
Blunt Cases is a fast-growing fashion and lifestyle accessories brand built around one idea: creating products that make her feel seen. We started with phone cases, but we're building something much bigger. Blunt sits at the intersection of fashion, accessories, culture, and self-expression, and we're rapidly expanding across new products, channels, and experiences.
About the Role
We looked for a highly organized, resourceful Executive & Personal Assistant to support the CEO of Blunt Cases.
This is not a traditional administrative role with a checklist of repetitive tasks. We wanted someone who could take ownership of the day-to-day details that come with running a fast-growing company and a busy schedule: calendars, travel, appointments, vendor follow-ups, research, documentation, recruiting coordination, and miscellaneous business administration.
The right person is proactive, persistent, discreet, and exceptionally good at figuring things out. Comfortable receiving "Can you handle this?" and independently determining the steps to get it done.
What They Own
- Executive and calendar support: manage the CEO's calendar, coordinate meetings and interviews, protect focus time, keep deadlines and renewals tracked.
- Travel and reservations: research and book flights, hotels and transportation; manage itineraries, changes, and refunds.
- Business administration: follow up with vendors, suppliers, agencies and contractors; request invoices, contracts, W-9s and certificates; track deliveries, samples, subscriptions and recurring expenses; resolve account and billing issues with service providers.
- Recruiting and team administration: coordinate candidate interviews, send questionnaires and follow-ups, maintain candidate trackers, organize onboarding documents and access requests.
- Personal and life administration: appointments, reservations, returns, and the miscellaneous tasks that would otherwise take time from the CEO.
What We Looked For
- Excellent written and spoken English, and confidence on the phone with U.S.-based companies
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
- Resourceful and comfortable figuring things out independently
- Able to manage many open tasks without losing track of any
- Good judgment about when something needs escalation
- High discretion and professionalism
- Tech-savvy: Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Slack, Shopify, Gusto, Ramp, Claude
What Success Looks Like
You make the CEO's life easier. You keep track of the small things before they become big things, follow up without being reminded, and always know what is outstanding, who owes an answer, and what deadline is approaching. Over time, the CEO can send "Can you handle this?" and trust it will be handled start to finish.
